Today marks the day of the lady who started it all! Florence Nightingale! What a lady.

How will you be celebrating today? I will for sure be at home reading Florence's book Note's on Nursing.

& today is the last day of Nurse's Week. Make sure you get out there and celebrate for real! I hope that you felt appreciated as a nurse this week.

Today is Nurse's Day!

May all the nurses out there feel appreciated today! 

Today I will be working a 12 hour shift, hoping a find time for a pee break sometime.

Nurse's Week 2014

Nurse's week is coming up pretty soon, May 6-12th. Get pumped!

What is Nurses' Week, you may ask?

Nurses' Week occurs every year to celebrate nurses! Yay! The week coincides with Florence Nightingale's birthday (May 12th), who as you all should know, helped to establish nursing as a profession. Nurses' Week is supported by the American Nurses Association. It is time set asside to take notice of nurses, celebrate their role in society, educate the public on the role and profession of nursing, and to give us presents! Neat!

So during that week I plan to post daily about nurses. Stories. Poems. Pictures. eCards. Your comments, stories, and encouragements are very much appreciated.
